On 24th October 2014, representatives of organizations and companies from Atlanta in Georia state arrived to the Podkarpackie Region aiming at establishing business contacts as well as to became acquainted with the investment climate of the region.

 Meetings have been orginised by the Inward Investment Center operating by the Rzeszow Regional Development Agency.

Business meetings took place in the seat of the Technology Incubator in Jasionka. Programe included presentations of economic potencial of Podkarpackie, investment offers and possibilities of business cooperation. Podkarpackie Region was represented by representatives of: the Rzeszow Regional Development Agency, Special Economic Zone EURO-PARK Mielec, Aviation Valley Association and Krosno City. Participants of the B2B meetings were companies operating within SEZ EURO-PARK Mielec and Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park AEROPOLIS.

Delegation of Atlanta consisted of the following representatives:

• Metro Atlanta Chamber – is a non-profit organization with a goal to showcase Atlanta as a place for businesses to thrive;
• Georgia Department of Economic Development – which manages and mobilizes state resources to attract new business investment to Georgia and drives the expansion of existing industry and small business

also of compnies from aviation and machining sector as well as of consulting and HR company:

• Winton Machine Company
• The global success centers / Palladium

Together with the Atlanta delegation came representative of Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency from Warsaw.

At the end of staying in Rzeszów, representatives of Atlanta participated in the meeting with the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Region, Mr Władysław Ortyl.
