State support of employment of unemployed persons includes assisting employers in recruitment process and upgrading skills of potential employees in accordance with an investors’ needs. The support is called a state aid. Potential employees are recruited among registered unemployed.

Basic labour market support instruments include:

• Assistance in the process of recruitment of employees with suitable qualifications;
• On-the-job training at the company: The training subsidy will cover the costs of training young graduates up to 27 years old (for maximum 12 months) or older unemployed people (for maximum 6 months). In such case the selected group will be paid by Labour Office. When the training period terminates it is possible to sign job contacts with selected candidates.

• Vocational training for all potential employees; Partial costs of incurred on trainings can be reimbursed i.e. fees, books, scholarships, costs of traveling to a training place. The Labour Office can spend at maximum 5,000 PLN per one trainee. During the training process young graduates can obtain a scholarship (about 210 PLN per month), and others can receive additional support of not more than 105 PLN per month.
• Creation of new workplaces: This type of subsidy can be offered as reimbursement of the costs of purchasing workplace equipment – maximum amount of support is about 12,000 PLN per one workplace.
