Registration in the register of companies
Natural persons that conduct business activity and natural persons that are partners in civil partnerships do not have to be registered in the National Court Register but in the register of companies. Communities are responsible for keeping the register and it is maintained by the head of a community, the mayor of a town or the president of a city.
To register in the register of companies it is necessary to fill in an application form that includes the following information:
• name and surname of the owner of the company,
• business name,
• address of the entrepreneur,
• type of conducted business activity according to Polish Classification of Products and Services,
• address of the company seat,
• date of commencing business activity,
• proof of paying a charge,
• available for inspection: ID of the applicant.
The document should be submitted to a relevant community office. A fee for an entry to the register equals PLN 100. The fee of PLN 50 is collected for each change in the data submitted in the application.
